Every scrape, we compare your live prices to every confirmed competitor match. If a competitor undercuts you, raises their price above yours, or runs a sale, we fire an alert through your chosen channels (email, Slack, more soon). You set the rules: a flat threshold ("notify me on any drop over 5%"), product-specific watchlists, or per-competitor rules. Alerts arrive within minutes of the scrape finishing, with the product, old vs new price, competitor URL, and direct link to the match in the dashboard.

Most competitor-price tools either rely on exact SKU matches (which break across stores) or on naive title string matching (which misses anything translated, reworded, or sold in a bundle). PricePanda combines three signals: product title (multi-language aware, with synonym normalization), price proximity, and image similarity, so we still match a product called "manikyrkit 5-pack" on one store to "manicure set" on another. Title-only matchers miss those. The result is higher recall with fewer false positives, and the system keeps learning from every confirm or decline you make.

We scrape only public product and category pages: no logins, no carts, no paywalls. We use a managed scraping layer (Firecrawl) that handles residential rotation, JS rendering, and standard anti-bot headers, so we look like a normal visitor rather than a crawler hammering the site. We also hit archive and category pages rather than every product URL, which keeps request volume low (~95% fewer hits than naive scrapers) and avoids tripping rate limits.
